About CDTA
The mandate of the College of Dental Technologists is to regulate and govern the practice of dental technology in Alberta in accordance to provincial legislation in order to ensure public health and safety. The CDTA is responsible for:

• Promoting professionalism
• Setting entry to practice education and training requirements
• Administering licensing/registration examinations
• Setting standards of practice and guidelines on conduct and practice
• Developing programs to ensure members continue to provide competent services and to improve their skills and knowledge
• Addressing complaints or concerns about the conduct of practice members.
